La licence Webcenter Universal Content Management (ajoutée en novembre 2012) représente un sous-ensemble de Oracle Webcenter Content qui exclut l’usage de Record Management (Archivage légal) ainsi que celui de l’Imaging (Chaine de numérisation)

Le prix de ce bundle est réduit d’un tiers par rapport à la seule version qui existait (WebCenter Content)

La licence WebCenter Universal Content Management comprend  des produits et des Features isolées

Ce qui n’arrange pas la compréhension, c’est que ce qui est considéré comme une feature dans la licence WebCenter Content  est désigné comme un product dans la licence WebCenter Universal Content Management.

Ex : Oracle WebCenter Content Conversion (qui est le seul product apparaissant dans la price list à coté de Java SE), pour la licence WebCenter Universal Content Management)

Prerequis pour  WebCenter Application Adapter  (connecteur pour Siebel) : WebCenter Suite Plus or WebCenter Portal or WebCenter Content or WebCenter Imaging

En ce qui concerne la question pour Siebel, je pense que la réponse est dans le fait que UCM est destiné aux clients voulant simplement faire de la gestion documentaire simple.  Pour les clients voulant plus de fonctionnalité + intégration, il faut WebCenter Content.
